Product Review : Servo Motor SG90

                    In our previous post, we have seen the simulation on how we can control the servo motor. Today we have a chance to test the actual servo motor. The servo motor that we will use is Tower Pro SG90. Basically, the SG90 servo motor is a low-cost plastic gear RC servo with torque (kg-cm) of 2.5. 











         The details of the spec are as per the table below










           The rotation of the servo is control through PWM. The diagram below illustrates the PWM to control the servo.





      To put the servo to test, we connect the servo to the Arduino as per the circuit diagram below. The LCD shield shown in the diagram below is different from the one we use in actual, but the connection is the same.



          And for the code, we use one of the examples from the Arduino Ide.  We use the sweep example. To get the file please refer the image below.






          Once everything has been verified, the servo motor should rotate as per the video below.
